The E-Mail notification (acceptance or rejection) was sent to the corresponding author, as he is the point of contact for all communication and is required to share all necessary information the co-author(s)

Information for Presenters

Final Paper 

All presenting authors are required to prepare and submit their final paper.
Presenting authors are kindly requested to ensure that their final paper is submitted by the deadline.

 Instructions for final Paper Submission

 If your paper is accepted for presentation during the conference, please make sure your full paper is uploaded according to the following steps:

  • All oral presenters are requested to prepare a final paper to be delivered no later than the 14th of August 2026. All papers will be made available as part of the proceedings.

    Shortly before the Conference registered Participants of the ECSSMET 2026 will have access to the Programme Booklet incl. Proceedings. Access is available only to registered participants of ECSSMET 2026. Registered participants need a password for this password-protected area of the ECSSMET 2026 website. This password will be sent by e-mail shortly before the event exclusively to all registered participants
    of the ECSSMET 2026. It is compulsory for all oral presenters to submit a final paper.
  • Final papers should be submitted via ECSSMET@dlr.de. The final paper must be submitted by the corresponding author who originally submitted the abstract and can only be sent to the official ECSSMET functional email address (ECSSMET@dlr.de).
  • Please download the paper template to be used to prepare the paper, see here. It contains the author instructions related to the paper preparation.
  • All presenters are requested to register to the Conference and pay the registration fee at their earliest convenience and no later
    than the 24 of August 2026. Information about the Registration Fee you will find here.
  • The preliminary programme is available for download on the website. The final programme will be available in September 2026.
  • The Organising Committee reserves the right to reject a paper that does not correspond to the accepted abstract.

 Guidelines for POSTER Presenters

 All poster presenters are asked to follow the below guidelines for their poster:

  • The working language of the conference will be English.
  • Presenters of a poster shall bring their own printed posters. It is not possible to print a poster on site.
  • Poster should have a size of A0 portrait format (0.84 x 1.19m). You can find the relevant template here
  • The title of your poster must appear at the top, in 25mm-high capital letters. Make sure that the authors and their corresponding organisations are clearly visible.
  • All poster presenters are kindly requested to mount their posters on the numbered poster boards upon arrival on the first day of the conference. Posters will remain on display throughout the entire event.
    On the final day of the conference, each poster presenter is responsible for removing their poster. Please either take it with you or
    dispose of it properly.
  • The panels will be numbered and presenters can find their reserved panel by referring to the number of their poster.
  • The poster boards are made of foam with a metal strip at the top. Mounting materials will be available onsite, such as magnets,
    pins and tape.
  • Make sure your documents are not too heavy and avoid laminated plastic or cardboard-backed sheets.

 Guidelines for ORAL Presenters

 All oral presenters are asked to follow the below guidelines for their oral presentation:

  • The working language of the conference will be English.
  • Presenters shall allocate 30 minutes for their presentation - including 10 minutes for questions.
  • The presentations should contain clear information with appropriate font size that is legible from the back of the conference room.
  • Presenters must arrive in the meeting room at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the session and contact the session chairs.
  • Hand-outs of your presentation will not be provided to the participants.

The online conference programme of ECSSMET 2026 will include the abstracts and papers and an author list.

GDPR

Declaration of Consent

The handling of personal data is controlled by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and associated legislation.

Therefore, every presenter has to fill out and sign the DLR Declaration of Consent at the registration desk onsite.


Event Photos

After the event, the photos, especially the group photo taken by our DLR photographer will be made available exclusively online via the website of the ECSSMET 2026. Only registered participants of the ECSSMET 2026 will have access to the event photos in a password protected aera on the website. To enter the sub-page, you need a password for this password protected area on the website. The password will be sent to the registered participants only after the ECSSMET 2026.

Please note:

We (ECSSMET 2026 / German Aerospace Center (DLR e.V.)) will not make your presentation slides accessible to others via the conference website of the ECSSMET 2026 neither won’t it be stored there at any time.  There will be no provision of the programme booklet of the ECSSMET 2026 abstracts and later (after the conference) by the German Aerospace Center (DLR e.V.) for publication to other public portals and information channels of German Aerospace Center or other external websites and tools.

The German Aerospace Center (DLR e. V.) as host of the ECSSMET 2026 is therefore not responsible for any other publication to other public portals or other external websites and tools.

The website with all its stored information will be online until December 2027. The Organizers of the ECSSMET 2026 reserve the right to remove an abstract that does not comply with the above from publication and/or presentation.
